If you’re trying to get closer to God this new year, at least 2 things will happen: God will honor your heart and the enemy will start whispering in your ear.
“As soon as Jesus was baptized…a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with Him I am well pleased….The tempter came to Him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.” Matthew 3:16-4:3
Don’t be surprised when the enemy starts to tempt, taunt and taint the Truth. That’s what he does to try to distract and discourage us from living for God. You may hear the tempter today. But may you also hear the voice of your Father spurring you on. He loves you and is so pleased with your faithfulness. – Sandi
