“You were made to respond to God.” I heard that in a sermon and wrote it in the margin of my bible next to this verse:
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.” Matthew 22:37
God made all of creation. But we (humans) are the only part of His creation made to respond to Him. We are not complete until we do. What does it look like to respond to our creator? Love Him from the inside out: our hearts, minds, souls…all surrendered to the One who made us, loves us and wants to spend eternity with us. If you want to “do what you were made to do” today, then respond to the God who loved you first. Love Him back. – Sandi
