What does God’s voice sound like? I don’t know. I’ve never heard it with my ears. But I have recognized His voice of truth. And I often hear Him better when my mind and heart are quiet.

God can speak in any way that He chooses. But our ability to hear Him clearly is often connected to the other “loud” voices in our lives. God speaks. But He isn’t obligated to be louder. He may honor our patient and persistent hearts that seek Him in the quiet. What if a key to hearing Him better is to get quiet enough to hear His whisper? – Sandi
