Making peace isn’t easy. But neither is division.
“How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity.” Psalm 133:1
Unity doesn’t just happen…on the world stage, in our city or in our families. There isn’t an “easy” road to peace. But what good thing is God calling us to today that can usher in some unity? What active part in making peace is He inviting us into today?
When we encounter someone who rubs us the wrong way today (and we likely will), may our first thought be…peace and unity. It may feel good to “fight to be right.” But God says it better…good and pleasant when we fight for unity. It feels less like fighting and more like peace. – Sandi
