I used to have a “compartmentalized” view of life. Worship is singing. Work is not spiritual. Prayer is when you’re eyes are closed. But then I see this verse and realize God doesn’t see it that way:
“Whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God…” Colossians 3:17
Every “whatever” can be an act of gratitude and worship. Because God isn’t impressed by our actions or words, but He is very pleased when our hearts and actions align and acknowledge His grace in our lives. May God be honored in your work, in your thoughts, and in every little thing you do today. Whatever. – Sandi
