God can both carry you and fight for you at the same time.
“The Lord your God, who is going before you, will fight for you, as he did in Egypt and in the desert. You saw how the Lord your God carried you, as a father carries his son, all the way…” Deuteronomy 1:30-31
God is more than we can fathom. He is the undefeated warrior, fierce in battle. Mighty to save. Ultimate authority and power. And He is compassionate father who runs toward his wayward children. He carries us. Comforts us. Is faithful and kind when we’re at our worst. Again and Again.
