I heard a pastor recently say, “We are really good at convincing ourselves that we’re really good.” If that is true, why did Jesus need to lay down His life for us?
God not only knows the very worst about us, but he had that in mind, our worst sins and struggles when he went to the cross.
“God demonstrated His love for us in that while we were still sinners….Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
God knows our sin. And He paid the unimaginable price so that we could be blameless in His sight and live forever with Him. That’s really good news for all of us who really need a Savior. And that is all of us! – Sandi
