What if God is more of a “grace giver” than a “scorekeeper?”
“The Lord longs to be gracious to you; He rises to show you compassion…Blessed are all who wait for Him!” Isaiah 30:18
This verse is a good reminder for my soul. Obviously, God knows our mistakes and our weaknesses. But who we are or what we do doesn’t change His love for us. He is eager to give undeserved grace. He is moved by our pain and struggles and shows compassion to us.
If you are hesitant to call out to God because you think He may reject you, let the truth of this verse sink in. He loves you. He has already paid the price to forgive and restore you. You can be assured that God has grace to give to you today. – Sandi
