What does God have to say about you and to you, today?
“Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name…I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.” Psalm 91:14-15
I like to write promises like this in my journal. Sometimes, I’ll write “you” to make it more personal: “I will be with you in trouble…” And sometimes, I close my eyes and try to picture God speaking it one on one to me. Is He smiling? Is He holding me? What is my posture and response to Him? God’s Word is more than printed letters on a page. It is a love letter and a reminder of His heart.
