Did you ever hear or say, “This is going to hurt me more than it is you?” The classic “pre punishment” line. But we all know what it means…..As parents, we do things that our kids may not like or understand. We have a perspective and vantage point that they don’t have yet. Everything we do is rooted in our love for them and wanting what’s best.
The same is true of God.
“We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28
God is working for your good today…always. When we see it, like it, understand it….or not. He is. He has the complete picture and he has a pure heart. So rest in Him today. And be confident that His plan is always a good one….for your good and for His good purpose. – Sandi
