Does the enemy try to remind you of past mistakes and sin? Is it challenging to live in freedom because you keep beating yourself up?
“…I am He who blots out your sins for my own sake and will never think of them again.” Isaiah 43:25
God takes our sin seriously. And He also takes care of our sin permanently. Picture this. We recognize our sin and ask for His forgiveness. He dips into the bloodshed from His perfect Son and uses it to blot out our sin. Then God chooses to never recall it again.
If the enemy tries to remind you of forgiven sin, cling to this verse. Cling to the freedom that Jesus offers. The price is paid. You are free. May our thoughts follow God’s gracious lead today.
