Are you struggling with loneliness or feeling unloved? This is for you. You probably know that God loves the whole world. You probably know that Jesus fed 5000 people when they were hungry. Those facts speak to the vastness of God’s love and power. He may seem so big and powerful that He’s out of your insignificant reach. Not true!
There’s a story in Matthew 8 where Jesus preached to the thousands, then gets in a boat, crosses the lake……to change one man’s life. Then get gets back in the boat and leaves. That’s a fiercely personal love….for not just the many, but the one who needs Him. God loves the whole world. But He also loves you. He would leave the 5000 for you….leave the 99 for you. He would sacrifice His Son for you. And He did. So, if you’re feeling lonely or unloved, remember all that God has already done for YOU. -Sandi
