How do you know if you’re in good standing with God? If you’re “good enough” to make it to heaven?
“It is by grace you have been saved, through faith- and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works, so no one can boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9
Because God is gracious, He offers us a free, yet costly, gift…salvation. Jesus paid the price for our sin on the cross. We believe in His sacrifice. We receive the gift. That is how we are saved and receive the promise of living forever in heaven with God.
Apart from God’s grace, we will not know the richness of a relationship with Him. But receiving the gift that He offers means we can know Him, His forgiveness, and the peace of salvation. What a gift! – Sandi
