Where is God when you’re hurting? When you don’t want to pray? When your heart is broken?
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. A righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all.”
Psalm 34:18-19
He is close. Always. But especially when you need Him most. When trying to comfort someone who is suffering, it is apparent that words fall short. But His presence is constant and comforting. I’ve experienced it. When there are no words. When there’s an abundance of pain or sorrow. Even then. Especially then…His presence is real. His peace is sufficient.
