You know how some verses in the Bible just jump out at you? Or resonate deep within you? This is a go to verse for me:
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned…For I am the Lord, your God.” Isaiah 43:2-3
I love this passage because it acknowledges that life gets really difficult. You go through things that, at times, feel too deep or too hard. You feel like you’re going to drown. The fire feels too hot to survive. But that’s when the promise rings true. He is with us in the deep. In the fire. And He assures us that we will make it. Because He is our God. He will bring you through. – Sandi
