God not only loves you. He has rescued you. Many times, and from many things.
“He reached down from on high and took hold of me; He drew me out of deep waters…He rescued me because He delighted in me.” 2 Samuel 22:17,20
I don’t spend enough time thinking about or thanking God for the many times and ways that He has rescued me. From bad paths. From temptation. From the enemy’s schemes. From an eternity without Him.
God has rescued us from much. Because He delights in us more than we can fathom. It may do our hearts good to pause in that place today. Remember the rescues. And how fond our father is of us.
“I call to the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and I am saved from my enemies.” 2 Samuel 22:4
