Has someone ever said that they loved you, but their actions didn’t show it? Me too. Those painful experiences shape us. And they make us hesitant to trust again. How can you know and trust that God loves you?
“This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.” 1 John 4: 9
God loves you. He sent His son to prove it. Jesus lived a life of love. And died in an act of love so that you could know and trust Him. God’s love cost Him something. Everything.
You may not fully understand who God is (none of us do), but you can trust His heart for you. You can trust His plan for you. And you can find new life, now and for eternity, through Him.
