If you could be known for one thing, what would it be? Poor Noah. He’s probably known for building a boat. But that is simply what He did, not who he really was.
“Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord…He walked with God.” Genesis 6:8-9
Long before the boat was built, Noah walked with God. Before it rained. Before the animals. Before the fresh start. Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord. The boat building is what he did. Faithful is who he was. He walked with God. What a legacy! I pray that whatever we do today will be a byproduct of who we are and the time we spend walking with God. May those around us see Jesus in us. And may our Father find us to be faithful. – Sandi
