Suffering doesn’t get the last word. Pain isn’t the period at the end of your life. There is more to come. And it is better.
“…We share in the sufferings in order that we may also share in His glory…Our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.” Romans 8:17-18
Suffering is part of life in this broken world. But it doesn’t get the final say. It fosters longing for more. Hope for better. And trust in the One who suffered on our behalf.
May God not only be close to you during your suffering today. May He give you strength to hold on. And confidence that He gets the final say. The struggle will not compare to the fulfillment of His good plan. He is good and faithful. Just wait, hope, and see. – Sandi
