How often do you teeter on the edge of being overwhelmed? Me too. I’ve not found a remedy for life’s circumstances feeling way too big and overwhelming. But I have found that putting my circumstances into context is helpful.
“God handed…all their enemies over to them because they cried out to Him during the battle. He answered their prayers because they trusted in Him.” 1 Chronicles 5:20
There are so many stories in scripture about God’s people being outnumbered and outsized…overwhelmed by an enemy or situation. But when they cried out to God for help, He stepped in and saved His people. Again, and again.
If you are feeling overwhelmed today, cry out to God. Trust Him to do what only He can. He is faithful. – Sandi
