What does it really mean to love God? Is it a feeling? A checklist of doing good things?
“If you love me, you will obey what I command.” John 14:15
Love isn’t an emotion. It is a willful action. A commitment. To love God means that we surrender our will for His way. That is a convicting thought for me. Does the love I have for God work its way out into my choices? Does it compel me to do life His way? Can others see evidence of my love for God in action? When we love God, we obey. – Sandi
