Sometimes there is a disconnect between my mind and my heart. Intellectually, I understand that God loves me. But, at times, I still emotionally feel unloved. Perhaps your heart needs this reminder as well:
“I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither present nor future, nor any powers…nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God…” Romans 8:38-39
God’s love is “sticky.” Constant. Faithful. When life is hard. When we’re not good. When we feel it or when we don’t. His love remains.
May the truth of His love get deep down in your soul. Deeper than the doubts and louder than the shame. Nothing can separate you from the love of your Father. – Sandi
