Old pictures tell a story. So do new ones. I bet you can easily spot the “then/now” differences…hairstyle, clothes worn, wrinkles. What would a snapshot of you reveal spiritually… when you first believed in Jesus and now?
“The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” Galatians 5:22
It is easy to forget how much work God has done in our lives….and how much more He wants to do. The more time we spend with Jesus and the more that His Spirit influences our lives, the more we look like Him. We’re still a work in progress, of course, but is there more evidence of Him in our lives today than before? More love, joy and peace…in our lives and in our world. It only comes from Jesus.
