Is God asking you to take the lead? Yes.
“Love one another deeply…Take the lead in honoring one another.” Romans 12:10
It feels unfair. To put someone else’s needs above your own. To forgive. To let go of anger or resentment. It feels unnatural. It is difficult. And rare. But it is the gospel (the good news of God’s love) in action.
God took the first loving step toward you. And now he invites you to do the same…to take a step toward someone who also may not deserve it.
I’ve seen it in my own life. Undeserved love has opened the door for grace to win. So, love deeply. Lead the way in humility. Take the first step, even when it feels unfair. It opens the door for God to work. – Sandi
