There are friends. Then there are my SOS friends. When I feel like I’m about to go under, I can simply text “SOS” and my besties know what it means. “I don’t want to talk, but I need you to pray for me. Now.” They become a lifeline to the Father for me. And I’m the same for them.
“They went up to the roof and lowered their friend on his mat…into the middle of the crowd, right in front of Jesus. When Jesus saw their faith He said, ‘Friend, your sins are forgiven.” Luke 5:19-20.
I hope you have friends in your life like that. You can count on each other for encouragement, truth and to always carry you to the Father. Who can you SOS today? Who can you carry today? God honors bold faith like that.
