Who are you listening to? Just because it is loud and large, doesn’t mean it is true.
“You come against me with sword, spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty…” 1 Samuel 17:45
When David stood before the giant, there were words thrown, before the stones were launched. I’m sure the giant’s words were loud and intimidating. “I’ll give your flesh to the birds and beasts….” (v.44) But David wasn’t swayed or intimidated by the “large” or the “loud.” He knew the truth. He listened to God’s promise more than the giant’s voice. And victory followed.
You will probably hear untruths today that seem really loud and convincing. But if they don’t line up with God’s word, stand your ground. Keep believing the truth and promises of God. Give ear to your Father and speak truth to the giants. – Sandi
