One of the most loving things God does is…forgive. Another is…He chooses to not think about your past sin anymore.
“I, alone, will blot out your sins for my own sake and will never think of them again.” Isaiah 43:25
Past mistakes tend to try to creep into present thoughts. Regret and shame are difficult to shake. But God wants you to know that he will never hold your forgiven past against you. His grace covers you. His mercy paves the way for a forgiven future for you.
If you want to be more like Jesus, don’t let past sin occupy your thoughts today. Take every thought captive to God’s grace. Let Him fill your mind with truth and your heart with peace. – Sandi
