For years, I felt like a kite that was intended to fly but was stuck in the trees instead. Tangled up in past hurts, self-loathing, and insecurities. I knew it wasn’t God’s best for my life, but I didn’t know how to get untangled.
“He brought me out into a spacious place; He rescued me because He delighted in me.” Psalm 18:19
I love the imagery and truth of this verse. God graciously, lovingly frees us from everything that tangles us up inside. His design and plan includes freedom for your life. He saves. He rescues. He untangles. Again and again. Why? Because He delights in you. And when your heart dares to believe that God treasures you, it changes everything. It is OK to admit that you’re tangled and need help. Cry out to the One who can rescue you. – Sandi
