God wants to work in your life so that when other people look at you, they see evidence of His love.
“The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” Galatians 5:22
I want more of everything on that list. I want people see Jesus in my life. But it doesn’t just happen because we love God. The only way to be more like Him is to give Him more and more control of our thoughts and actions. Surrender to His Spirit. The challenging, minute by minute, invitation for God’s Spirit to work in and through us. When we spend time with Him and His Word, He chips away at the “old” and ushers in love, joy, peace and all of the other characteristics of His nature. What evidence will there be in our lives today of His Spirit? – Sandi
