Why does God make us wait? If He can do everything? Why doesn’t He?
“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9
I need this reminder! God’s timing is rooted in His love for me. And a world who doesn’t yet know Him.
He is patient. Because He loves. He is gentle and kind. He is always revealing Himself. And He uses every delay and difficult circumstance to draw us closer to Him. And to invite the lost to Him.
If you’re frustrated because God is taking too long…consider that He may be doing something you can’t yet fully see or understand. And that “something” will result in more people coming to know Jesus.
Be patient. Because He is patient. Wait well. Surrender to His plan and timing.
