When is the last time you took inventory of God’s faithfulness? Recounted answered prayers? Thanked Him for the prayers He didn’t answer because His way was better?
After God parted the Red Sea, he told Joshua to gather stones from the river and stack them as a memorial to God’s faithfulness.
“When your children ask you’ ‘What do these stones mean?’ Tell them…” Joshua 4:1-7
God knows how forgetful we are. He knew that the next time His followers faced trouble, they would need a reminder of God’s faithfulness. We do as well. What are your stones of remembrance? How has God worked in your life? Have you shared your story with anyone? When you remember and share, God’s faithfulness is on display. For you and others. Maybe it will do your heart good today to look at the stones and know. He is faithful. – Sandi
