“Why is God allowing me to suffer?” It was an honest question from a JOY FM listener recently. Perhaps it is one that your heart is wrestling with right now.
“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death, no more mourning, crying or pain…I am making everything new.” Revelation 21:4-5
Those words are in the last book of the Bible. Because they paint a picture of what hasn’t happened yet. Heaven. Where all things are made right. And new. By the One who walks with you today, even through your suffering.
We live in a broken world. And we experience brokenness everyday in a variety of ways. But we do so with confidence and hope in the One who will make all things new and right.
Suffering may be part of your life now. Jesus experienced it too. But it will not win. Heaven is the promise. And it is worth hoping for. You can trust the One who will wipe every tear from your eye. He is faithful. – Sandi
