Worry is a thief. Not just of our time and our joy. Worry can dull our hearts to God and to His Word.
“Some people are like seed along the path, where the Word is sown…But the worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth and the desires for other things come in and choke the Word, making it unfruitful.” Mark 4:15,19
I think the enemy has presented worry in a way that disguises its real impact. When we let our minds run rampant with worry, there’s no room for God’s Word to take root. Faith and hope are completed crowded out. Don’t give worry free rein. Cling to God’s Word and your trustworthy Father. – Sandi
