Am I the only one who feels like God is a “slow poke?” If He can do ANYTHING at ANYTIME….then why does He make us WAIT so much?!? “The Lord isn’t slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish….” 2 Peter 3:9 I’ve never equated God’s timing with Him being patient with me. I usually interpret it as Him being SLOW or LATE because I want what I want …..NOW. ?But what if God isn’t slow or late? What if He is patient? And what if EVERYTHING He does and doesn’t do is rooted in His love for us and His desire for us to know Him more? Because it is. He is patient. And kind. And He is working out His eternal plans and purposes for your life and many others who don’t yet know Him. And that is worth waiting for! – Sandi
