You can’t do it alone! It doesn’t matter what the “it” is. God made you for trusting relationships; with Him and with others. It feels “needy” to admit that we can’t do it on our own. But I think that’s where God wants us, humbly acknowledging our need.
“They held his arms up- one on one side, one on the other-so that his hands remained steady.” Exodus 17:12.
As long as Moses held up his hands, his army won. When he got tired and his arms fell, they would suffer defeat. So, two close confidants held up his arms. God knew the task was too great for Moses. But not too great for all 3 of them.
What if God was also teaching us about how to navigate through battles today? If you’re weary from the fight, don’t give up. Simply invite others into the fight with you and for you. They’ll hold you up. In time, you’ll probably be needed to hold them up. It’s God’s way. It’s a good way! – Sandi
