God is honest and a straight shooter. Have you ever thought about that fact? He is Truth. And everything He speaks will come to pass. That reminder brings me peace and confidence.
“In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
John 16:33
While I don’t like the “trouble” part. It is the truth. Jesus didn’t try to pull one over on us and say that it will be easy when we follow Him. He was honest about the struggle. But He was also truthful about the victory. He has already defeated everything this world has to throw at us. Everything. So, take heart, friend. Your Father is the overcomer.
