If you’re facing a difficult decision, you don’t have to figure it out on your own. Something powerful happens when you seek out ‘truth speakers’ in your life. Trusted confidants that you can “talk it out” with who will offer wisdom when you need it.
“Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.” Proverbs 15:22
I look at this verse as a safety net. An invitation to wisdom and success. A reminder that I don’t have all of the answers. I need input and wisdom from others. And so do you.
What are you struggling to carry on your own? Is God inviting you to invite someone else into it? Who is He bringing to mind? What if the key to your next step is found in seeking counsel? Perhaps a Christian counselor or a wise friend?
