Your prayers reach God’s ears. And your pain reaches His heart.
“In my distress I called to the Lord; I called out to my God…He heard my voice; my cry came to His ears.” 2 Samuel 22:7
When we don’t see the answers that we seek or when the pain doesn’t disappear, we may question God’s presence and His care. Over and over throughout scripture, He reminds us that He is close to the brokenhearted. Why? Because He is a God of compassion. He won’t abandon you or turn a deaf ear to your cry. You can trust that God hears you when you pray. He is moved when you are hurting. And He will be faithful to respond. He hears. He cares.
