St. Paul’s Evangelical Free Church is seeking to fill a permanent, part time position for Worship and Music Director. We are also seeking an Interim Worship and Music Director for a period of 3 to 6 months while we search for a candidate for the permanent position. The Worship and Music Director, in cooperation with the Lead Pastor, staff and lay volunteers, coordinates the talent and resources of the church to lead and provide music for worship services. Position responsibilities include oversight and direction of an adult SATB choir, a contemporary worship team, an adult handbell choir and occasional children’s vocal and handbell choirs. The adult vocal choir and handbell choir rehearse weekly and participate in services from Labor Day to Pentecost, while the contemporary worship team rehearses and provides music during services throughout the year. An Organist/Accompanist is also on staff and supports the music ministry of the church year-round. This position is part-time program staff and reports to the Lead Pastor.
